46 letni Jackson starał się od kilku sezonów o swoją szansę na trenerskim stołku. Rozmawiał m.in. z Hornets, Timberwolves, Suns, Knicks i Bulls. Umowa została podpisana na 3 lata z możliwością klubu o przedłużeniu ją o kolejny. Wartość kontraktu jest szacowana na 6 mln $. Mark zacznie pracę po zakończeniu finałów.
Bardzo dobry ruch. Jacksona cenię wysoko po jego stażu w NBA. Pewnie respekt będzie budził większy niż ostatni trenerzy GSW. zadanie numer jeden uporzadkować team i nauczyć bronić.. jeśli dojdzie do wymiany na Iguodalę to po Lee’m będzie kolejny gracz do obrony.
Ponadto liczę na podobny sezon w wykonaniu Wrighta. Zawsze darzyłem ten team sympatią od czasów Hardaway’a , Mullina a potem Webbera. Go Warriors;-)
